12 pies, less one :)Time to eat

Everything begins with fresh local ingredients.  Our home grown chicken, local beef and pork, home grown herbs and a cheat of pre-made pastry(it’s an experiment on the filling). I make a really good pastry that will be used if we like the filling and we like the filling!

Just one of those things you happen across in conversation, well we do. We thought, “Why don’t we make this?”.  So we did. If you could smell our kitchen you would understand.

These pies will be gifted for the feedback on flavor and of course lunch tomorrow. The fun is in the learning. Combine the flavors you like and you can’t go wrong, often. In the end we have created our first Forever Green recipe.
